I love doing the Digi Dares...it makes you think outside the box. Or in this case think WAYYYY back in time. LOL So, with this Digi Dare you had to think back to a Christmas you had. Lucky for me when I went to Random.org to create my year it came up to be the same year that my first child was born. Which happened to be a BIG memory in my mind.
The Journaling Reads:
I remember Christmas 1990 real well. Rian was 2 months old. He was in the hospital for congestive heart failure. On Christmas morning they sent a Santa and Mrs. Santa around to each kids room. They gave each kid a hand made red bag filled with toys according to their age. They also gave each child a elf hat for their head and then they took a photo of the child with the bag of toys. They then would leave the photo in the room if there were no parents in there. In our case I was there and they took a photo of me holding Rian and with the Santa and Mrs Santa. Our entire Christmas routine was messed up since we were in the hospital. However the one thing that I was thankful for is that my son was still alive and becoming more and more healthy each day.

"That donkey is so frightened by all the wailing that is coming from the ghouls, ghosts and witches that are flying around the train that he has almost kicked the baggage car door off." "Can't you quieten him down, he is giving me a headache and my wife won't thank you for that". The conductor stomped down the compartment towards the baggage car and as he passed between the two, "Whooosh!" one of the witches came swooping down, in for the kill and tried to grab him. Unfortunately she had only just gotten her Learner's Licence and "smack" she crash landed on the roof. The conductor quickly jumped inside and radioed ahead to the next station, "Hurry, get all the lights on. Make it as bright as you can" "We are being plagued by witches, bats, ghosts and ghouls. One of them nearly got me." We can't stop long - (just long enough to fatten someone up as a sacrifice - Hee hee hee)

The train pulled into the station. All the lights were blazing and the conductor said "Quick stop - ladies that way, gents that way. Mind how you go now and hurry back. Pick up your gifts, don't step on a crack and take a biiiig jump into the train. The dark forces are with us and we need to get moving again" With that said, the train pulled slowly out of the station two minutes later and headed for the next station.

OK so one of the new challenges on Scrapable to blog about the subject that the hostess blogged about so, here's my TWO CENTS!

I use to watch Jon and Kate plus 8 all the time because it was just interesting. I use to own a store front scrapbook store and a customer came in one day and some how we got on the subject of their show. She said to me...I don't watch it now unless it's the only thing on TV I asked why....she said...Have you ever seen how rude she is to her husband? Have you seen how mean she is at times to her kids? Have you seen how she rants that she was a nurse and decided to stay home with the kids? But, now she wants her husband to quit his job and stay home with them? Well, why is that? Because TLC pays them so much for the show that they neither one really has to work...but, also because she wants to start going away to promote her "BOOK"! She told me she stopped watching because of how Kate treated Jon.
So, with that in mind I started watching the show in a different way. I would pay more attention to how she talked to Jon and their kids. And my customer was right...she was always SO rude...
He could be off with some of the kids doing what needed to be done and if things didn't go her way with all the other kids she would call him away from the kids he was with to deal with the kids she was with.
Anyway my opinion is that they never said who supposedly cheated on who...so who knows who really did as Kate was also with her body guard a lot!
But, here's the last thing I am going to say about this...At the end of this past last season did you see Kate say something about the new season coming up and how Jon's response to that was? Well, that means that Jon no longer wanted the show to continue and Kate insisted that it did continue....So, who wanted and who didn't want to work on the marriage?

I went to the Hodge Podge Art Site you can click HERE to go there. They have different challenge's you can do. So, you can either enter your layout or let it give you inspiration. So, here's the inspiration this latest challenge gave me.

I finally have Tyleena potty trained. We did not really work hard at it at first. She would go to the bathroom with me and sit on her potty chair. Of course when she did it I clapped and called her a big girl and danced all that FUN stuff...LOL

So, one day I was sitting here at the computer and I hear Mommy, Mommy and I said what...she said "I POOPED" mommy "I POOPED". I said did you really....she shook her head yes! So, I got up and went and looked and OM Gosh she did poop. I was so excited for her and she did it on the big potty thank goodness for that cuz I have a very weak stomach I would have had gotten sick if I had to clean it from the potty chair. LOL

Ever since then she's been wearing big girl panties and going to the potty. She's had a few pee accidents in them and we just clean her up and get new ones on and of course a poop accident and those went right into the trash can! LOL

But, she did really good and could wear them all night long with no accidents well then she had an accident and she sleeps with me...so I went and got pull ups and put them on her at night. Now her daddy tries to make her wear them all day long until I told him that was not gonna work. I got them for night time ONLY! So, he's stopped putting them on her.
